Quick answers.
Limits, credits, files, privacy, and API basics.
Using blankground
What image formats can I upload?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF from 32×32 pixels up to 25 megapixels and 50 MB. Telegram stops at 20 MB.
What can I export?
Transparent PNG or WebP, JPEG with a background, color + alpha ZIP, or layered PSD.
How long do downloads remain available?
Files expire 24 hours after processing. Download links last ten minutes. Job history remains until account deletion.
Can I process a batch?
Yes, up to 100 images with one shared preset. Each workspace processes one image at a time.
Do you support video?
No. blankground is image-only for now.
Quality and editing
Can I correct a mask?
Yes. Restore, erase, use AI points, clean edges, and change the layout. Your original stays untouched.
Does AI refinement cost another credit?
No. Edits and rerenders are included. Each project allows up to 20 AI refinements.
Will a Photoshop document lose resolution?
No. It can send a smaller proxy, then apply the mask to your full-resolution layer.
Credits and accounts
What is included in the beta?
Get 7 previews a day without an account, or 100 full-resolution images a month per workspace. Credits do not roll over.
When is a credit charged?
We hold one credit when a job starts and charge it on success. Failure or cancellation releases it.
Is there a paid plan?
Not yet. The beta is free. We will publish prices before billing begins.
Privacy and API
Do you train on customer images?
No, unless you clearly opt in.
How are API requests authenticated?
Use a bearer API key. Creation requests also need an Idempotency-Key.
How do I know when an API job finishes?
Poll the job, read its event stream, wait with Prefer: wait=8, or use a signed
webhook.
